Jo Ann Deschamps Jo Ann has been a member of THM since 2002. In 2001 her good friend Charlene Parker had asked her to make a costume for Mary for a play her friend Kathy was putting on. She made the costume and went to see the play. God had laid upon her heart that this is a ministry in which she could get involved. He has been stretching her and molding her in many areas ever since. She became a member of the executive committee in 2002. Her Christmas roles have been as follows: She played Minnie Vann in 2002, Aunt Lola in 2003, Gilda in 2005, Samantha Wainscott and Blanche in 2006 and her favorite "Mah Bennett" in the Dinner Theater. Her favorite character to play is Mah even though she is nothing like her...or so she says. She loves the creativity this ministry has allowed her in both acting as well as the costume design. Jo Ann is a seamstress by trade. She does everything from simple alterations to dress making. She is a member of Rock Village Church in Middleboro. She has always loved children's ministries. She is part of the Christian Education Program as a Bible Discovery Hour Teacher. Jo Ann lives is Acushnet with her wonderful husband Roger. They have 2 adult daughters, Heather and Heidi. The family is very supportive of THM and the role JoAnn plays in this ministry. She loves them all very much. Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." |
